Exploit on eBay? 是ebay被挂马，还是avast并不美丽的误会？

Avast poped up when I was reading some data on ebay.com
A JS exploit on http://include.ebaystatic.com? I’d rather it’s a false alarm. Otherwise, it would be a big party.

今天属于Google Wave

按google之前公布的消息，将在今天（9月30）发送十万个google wave的邀请，能得的大概是以下三类人：

1. Developers who have been active in the developer preview we started back in June；

2. The first users who signed up and offered to give feedback on wave.google.com；

3. Select customers of Google Apps.

显然大部分人都拿不到第一手邀请的。但越是这样，大家兴致越高。twitter上，google wave已经排到trend topic第二的位置。在搜索google wave后，等它自动刷新，每次都会多出几十个新的tweets来。。。

而在ebay上，已经有人在以拍卖的形式卖邀请了。15个小时内有了18304的PV，31bid，目前是USD157.5。ebay link

随着邀请的不断出炉，相信会更热闹。大品牌就是好，不用推，千万人等着要。

存两张照片

第一张严格说不叫存，因为存不下，这玩意有8亿像素，由将近1200张图片拼合而成，每张照片曝光时间是6分钟，以1200张算的话，这张大照片的总曝光时间将近120小时。这是ESO（欧洲南方天文台）近日公布的360度夜空全景图，是ESO GigaGalaxy Zoom计划的第一张，以后还会有两张。更多信息可以去看http://www.eso.org/public/outreach/press-rel/pr-2009/pr-32-09.html

英国eBay新BM中潜在的问题

不知是哪天，或许是7月月底，英国eBay发布了下次更新的框架。刚刚终于抽空看了一下，BM的一个改动勾起了我的邪念。。。

Recent sales score for Fixed Price – including impressions count
We’re refining the way we measure recent sales. Fixed Price listings will have a performance score based on the listing’s recent sales in relation to the number of recent impressions it got. An “impression” is any time a buyer sees a search results page that includes the listing.

For example, in the new version of Best Match, a listing with 100 recent impressions and 10 recent sales will score higher than a similar listing with 1000 recent impressions and only 10 recent sales.

它就是这么说的。于是我恶毒的想，若是查询一些特定的关键词，让每次出现的搜索结果不包括自己的listing。这样一来，竞争对手销售与impression的比例肯定就会低。为了绕过eBay可能的扫描过滤系统，写个脚本，用上自动切换代理。每30秒发送一次搜索请求，一天24小时能请求2880(=24*3600/30)次。如果几台机子同时挂着刷，或者再把脚本升级到一个小程序，那针对某个特定关键词的影响还是可观的。。。

假设eBay确实存在这个所谓的漏洞，对卖家而言，最好的就是大家统一标题。不过仍然可以通过设定价格区间来达到上述目的。。。对eBay而言，最简单的方法可能就是只计算登录（或者搜索过后登录，可以通过跟踪cookie实现）用户搜索产生的impression。

当然，eBay的大神多了去了，这大概只是近日状态不佳和整日瞎忙共同作用下的睡前白日梦。
